Doughnuts Greeting Card

Mmm … doughnuts. I always look forward to seeing what’s new at Pie Bird Press, whose ultra colorful cards are a feast – sometimes literally (that doughnut card is making me seriously hungry) – for the eyes.

Their Spring 2012 lineup features plenty of super cool cards embellished with both edible and non-edible goodies, and I cannot wait to see these cards and more in person in the sure-to-be-awesome Crow & Canary booth (#3024) at this year’s National Stationery Show. Sweet!

Best Selling Books

From Personalized Stationery Blog - Gifts In 24 by Henry Springs

What actually makes a book a great read? If we currently look at the top of the New York Times Best Seller List we can see for ourselves by similarities and differences. You might want to pick up your favorite Personalized Notepad and jot down these themes- murder, espionage, crime, life styles of the rich and famous, and more. The top five novels are a sordid mix of all of the above. The Innocent, by David Baldacci sits at the top of the list. It tells the tale of a hit man who rescues a teenage girl whose parents have been murdered as a conspiracy continues to unravel. The Witness, by Nora Roberts follows at No. 2. It is the plight of a programmer hiding from Russians in the Ozarks. John Grisham has returned once again to No. 3 with Calico Joe, beginning with the end of a promising rookie career. Years later the pitcher and rookie are brought together by the pitcher’s son. Unnatural Acts by Stuart Woods tells the story of a lawyer and a billion dollar hedge fund manager. The top five ends with Guilty Wives by James Patterson. It is the tale of four friends vacationing in Monaco who winds up in jail. Of course it’s something to talk about.

What about you? What are you reading? You keep track of what you read, don’t you? Most of America reads in bits and spurts. It is what you might call a national past time. The characters and the plots are rearranged but the dreams and hopes are strikingly the same. I think current hot titles on most of America’s reading lists include the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I honestly haven’t read it but I’ve seen the movie. Most of America is still chatting, tweeting about the book that was formally released in 2010. At present, all forms of known media have been saturated by info about The Hunger Games. You probably have generous notes on the issue, in your Personalized Notepad. Grab one of our Best Selling Personalized Notepads, such as: Apple Memo Squares, Distinct 7, Classic Monogram, Cotton Square, Desk Slabs, or Mini Lists, for you to organize your life, continuously update your schedule, and keep tabs on hot literary properties and people around you.

The Facts about 1st Birthday Invitations

May16

Written by Talumo

There are many things you need to know about 1st birthday invitations for your little ones. They will be growing up so fast and I remember the time when my kids were just starting to grow up.

Before having children, I swore my son would never use a pacifier. For me they were just signs that a child is not only very well attended. You know, Mom did not want the baby to wear and to comfort her, so that only the pacifier in her mouth to calm her down. But I am older now, and I have three kids, so I’m wiser too. No doubt, these are times when a pacifier is a great help and not just a crutch for the mother.

As a result, some newborns only a major boost to breastfeed than others. If your baby like this, a pacifier is almost a necessity. For these babies, received breast feeding or taking a bottle is not enough. My daughter was one of these babies, and unless she fell asleep while breastfeeding or taking a bottle, pacifier, which was instrumental in him to sleep.

Other children simply do not need this accessory, cows and, for these children, a pacifier is usually not necessary. Occasionally sucking their thumb or fist is enough to satisfy them. Watch your child in the early days, and the decision based on the behavior of your baby. A warning, however, if your baby is breastfeeding, you should avoid the pacifier to your child’s habits of nurses are fully established. A pacifier can cause nipple confusion in babies who have difficulty with breastfeeding.

The problem with the pacifier is not really own use of a pacifier, and not excessive, or the use of their time outside the normal age. Use of a pacifier can lead to serious dental problems, and may be used only by the amount of time needed. In addition, the age of your child, the harder it is for you to keep it clean. Even if your child is based on a pacifier to sleep, you are obliged to fetch it for him a few times at night when he is not able to on your own.

If your child uses a pacifier, looking for natural opportunities that arise to give up, and seize them. For example, my daughter caught a bad cold at six months old, and no use of a pacifier, because they are so congested I could hardly breathe. Once it started to fall due to the cold, I put it out of sight. Once your cold is over, he was forgotten. My second son clung to her a bit more, but about eight months, I realized that just before he fell asleep at night to pull the pacifier in her crib. So one night I picked it up off the ground and put it away. She end never realized it was gone.

When removing your child a pacifier, you can make life easier for you. Just be sure not to let it go too long, or you and the baby can become addicted!
